Pune : In a prestigious ceremony hosted by the Maharashtra Book of Records at Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Cultural Hall, Pune, notable achievers from diverse fields such as art, sports, industry, education, social work, politics, and spirituality were felicitated with the “Pride of Maharashtra” award. Among the awardees, Supriya Chavan, Regional Head of NIIT Foundation, was recognized for her remarkable work in women empowerment and skill development.

Supriya Chavan: A Change-Maker : Over the past decade, Supriya Chavan has dedicated herself to transforming the lives of unemployed youths through employment-oriented skill development training. Her efforts have empowered thousands to achieve self-reliance and secure better futures.

In addition to youth development, Supriya has spearheaded initiatives to uplift women by providing education, skill training, and employment opportunities. These efforts have enabled women to achieve financial independence and lead dignified, self-reliant lives. Her inspiring journey earned her the “Pride of Maharashtra” award, a testament to her unwavering commitment to societal progress.



Empowering Women Through Training : The event also featured a Graduation ceremony for women trained in collaboration between the NIIT Foundation and the Azad Foundation. Certificates were presented to the successful trainees by Supriya Chavan, Ritesh Sharma, and Vikas Kadam, celebrating their hard-earned achievements.
